As a Field Organizer for Amnesty USA, Prachi Rao works to build a grassroots activist base in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania that understands Amnesty’s mission--engaged in action, and governance.

Originally from Australia, Rao holds a Bachelor of Laws, with a focus on International Human Rights Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University. Over the past eight years, she has worked and volunteered nationally and internationally with a variety of non-governmental and grassroots organizations with a focus on the UN Climate Change process (UNFCCC) and women’s human rights.
