Logan Browning

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Logan Browning moved to Los Angeles when she was 14 to pursue a career as an actress. She quickly found success, cast as recurring characters on the Television shows, Summerland and Ned’s Declassified.

Despite such an immediate and positive response from Hollywood, setting in motion a shot at fulfilling her dream to be an actor in Television and Film, Browning chose to return home to Atlanta after just one year in Los Angeles. She and her family collectively decided she belonged at home in order to experience the more traditional and memorable teen benchmarks. Most importantly, Browning wanted to complete high school with her friends and attend graduation with her class. Confident that she could both experience these once-in-a-lifetime events and still ultimately have a successful acting career, made the move back to Georgia -- the right choice for her at the time.

However, just when she thought she was out, Hollywood pulled her back in. An opportunity to audition for a leading role in BRATZ was impossible to resist, and Browning won the coveted role of ‘Sasha.’ The Homecoming Queen took off during her senior year to shoot the movie. Fortunately, she was able to return home after filming just in time to attend Prom with her best friends and graduate with Honors. After an International Media Tour promoting the film, Browning decided to continue focusing on her academics. She was accepted to Vanderbilt University, and began her collegiate studies.
Once she was fully settled into the life of a college student, Hollywood came a knocking again.
After intense lobbying by her L.A. reps, Browning agreed to move back to L.A. to give her career a fair shot.

In a bizarre and miraculous twist, that decision resulted in booking the series regular role of
‘Brianna’ in Tyler Perry's television series Meet the Browns which filmed back home in Atlanta, Georgia. She found herself enjoying a successful acting career by day and being able to continue her collegiate studies in the evenings.

Following Meet the Browns, she moved back to Los Angeles. She continued to work steadily with TV roles on Pair of Kings and The Secret Circle, while also shooting independent films including When the Bough Breaks and Brotherly Love.

Browning was extremely excited for the challenge of juggling two different roles at once; her series regular role as the manipulative and duplicitous Devil Girl Captain ‘Jelena’ on the VH1 scripted drama Hit the Floor, as well as the PlayStation Network show POWERS in the recurring role of ‘Zora.’ Browning stars in the Netflix Original Series, Dear White People, as the lead role of ‘Sam,’ made popular by the original portrayal of the character by actress Tessa Thompson based on the 2014 feature film of the same name. The series launched its first season via the streaming giant to positive rave reviews and recently launched its second season to additional critical acclaim. Additionally she stars opposite Allison Williams in the upcoming feature film The Perfection from director Richard Shepard which is a horror- thriller following the story of two young cello prodigies and a sinister obsession that drives the dark pursuit of perfection.
